What is the IP Address of my Ventrilo Server?

Should you ever wish to connect to your server via the IP address instead of the host name (NOT RECOMMENDED -- we change IP Addresses from time to time, we recommend using the host name instead), you can find out your IP address by performing the following action.

Finding the IP address

• ping (click ping) your server host name, and it will return the IP address of your server.
• Again, we highly discourage you from doing this, as we do change IP addresses from time to time. Utilizing the IP can cause unwanted service problems.
